About Us Ciarra Homes was born in 1983 as a General Contractor specializing in Custom Homes, Residential Remodeling and Subdivisions. Several years later Ciarra began to gravitate toward Commercial Wood Framing and in 1993 became Incorporated and officially changed to Ciarra Construction. Today, Ciarra Construction specializes in Commercial Wood Framing and Seismic Retrofit. We are active in both new construction and renovation of commercial retail shells, structural retrofits and tenant improvements, as well as new and remodeled residential construction. As a Subcontractor, Ciarra Construction serves many of the Bay Areas medium to large General Contractors and has successfully completed hundreds of commercial projects in the greater bay area. Ciarra Construction also continues to periodically function as the General Contractor on various projects.
